The Grant County Republican Party Central Committee extends its gratitude to the Grant County Commissioners for their selection of Mr. Brandon Guernsey as the new Prosecutor for Grant County. As required by law, the GCRPCC advertised the vacancy, conducted initial interviews, and forwarded three qualified candidates for the County Commissioners to consider in their final decision.

Candy Erickson, Chair of the Logistics Committee for the GCRPCC, expressed the Republican Party’s satisfaction with the Commissioners’ choice, acknowledging the challenging decision they faced. Erickson stated, “It was an honor to assist in the process and recommend such qualified and dedicated candidates. This selection ensures that Grant County’s leadership will benefit from a Prosecutor’s Office that our citizens can take great pride in.”

Mr. Guernsey will assume office on August 4, 2025, bringing fresh leadership to this vital legal role, Erickson added.
